Sprinklr Hires Former Microsoft U.S. CMO Grad Conn as Chief Experience and Marketing Officer
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Sprinklr, the world’s leading Customer Experience Management (CXM) platform, today announced that Grad Conn, former GM & CMO of Microsoft USA, has joined Sprinklr as Chief Experience and Marketing Officer.
Conn joins Sprinklr after 11 years at Microsoft, with the last 7 years as CMO for the Microsoft U.S. commercial business. Prior to Microsoft, Conn worked as CEO or CMO at a number of startups, and began his career at Procter & Gamble. He brings deep expertise in ABM, marketing automation, social selling, social engagement, event marketing, content marketing, and scale programs for commercial selling motions.
“We’re in the midst of a marketing revolution -- the ‘Third Era’ of marketing -- where marketers are combining mass reach with bi-directional communications. Customers are now truly in control, and experience has become the new brand,” said Conn. “While I was at Microsoft, I had the opportunity to build the largest customer experience center in the world with Sprinklr, and I’m looking forward to sharing the insights I gained to help the world’s most loved brands create happy customers.”
“At Microsoft, Grad wasn’t just one of Sprinklr’s most forward-thinking customers, he was one of the world’s most forward-thinking marketers,” said Ragy Thomas, Founder & CEO, Sprinklr. “With his rare combination of B2B, B2C, and startup skills, I can’t think of anyone better suited to help us bring the customer-first future of marketing to life for Sprinklr and our customers.”
Valued at $1.8 billion in July 2016, Sprinklr has continued to grow rapidly to meet the needs of 1,200+ enterprise brands who are investing in real-time CXM infrastructure in order to reimagine every customer-facing function, from marketing to customer care. In April 2017, Sprinklr unveiled the first CXM platform. In the months following, former Cisco Executive Chairman John Chambers joined the Sprinklr Board, Luca Lazzaron was hired as Sprinklr’s first Chief Revenue Officer and Diane Adams was appointed Chief Talent & Culture Officer.
